Upper Makefield Township, with offices located at 1076 Eagle Road, Newtown, PA 18940, will receive sealed bids online until 11:00 A.M., prevailing time on Tuesday, July 25th, 2023 at which time and place the bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud for:

Contract 23-02002 – 2023 PICKLEBALL COURTS PROJECT.

The Project includes a base bid and three (3) alternates in Upper Makefield Township. The base contract includes the construction of four (4) pickleball courts, 8 foot high perimeter fencing, nets and foundations, 2 fence gates to enter the playing area, court painting, line painting, etc.  

Alternate #1 includes substituting a 10’ high perimeter fence for the 8’ high fence included in the base bid. Only the cost difference between a 10’ high perimeter fence and the 8’ high fence shall be entered for alternate #1.

Alternate #2 includes the installation of an asphalt walking path from the existing handicap parking spaces to the location of the new pickleball courts.

Alternate #3 includes the installation of eighteen (18) additional parking spaces using previous asphalt. All Bidding Documents and Solicitation details may be obtained at PennBid™ https://pennbid.procureware.com/home.
