Home Safety

Our patrol officers monitor any changes they see that may indicate crime. You can help prevent crime with these simple practices:

Secure Your Vehicles

  • Lock your car, even if you only leave for a moment
  • Lock your doors and windows at all times
  • Don’t leave anything of value in sight-laptops, phones and tablets, as well as any bags or boxes that may look valuable to thieves
  • Invest in an alarm system – make sure it is functioning properly.

When You Leave Home, Prepare for Crime Prevention

  • Put lights on timers
  • Cancel newspapers and have mail held while you are away
  • Have neighbors check your home daily
  • Have police check your home daily
