The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that emergency pipe replacement is scheduled on Route 32 (River Road) in Lower Makefield and Upper Makefield Townships.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

Thursday, September 14 and Friday, September 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, River Road will be closed between Mt. Eyre and Woodside Roads. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Mount Eyre, Taylorsville and Woodside Roads.

Local access will be maintained. Please allow extra time when traveling near the work area since backups and delays may occur. Work is weather permitting.
