If you have a home security alarm, you must register it annually with the Upper Makefield Township Police Department by March 31 to avoid false alarm fines. The Township ordinance eliminates false alarm fines for users registered with the Police Department by March 31. Unregistered users will be subject to a $50 fine for each accidental false alarm.
