Home Safety
Our patrol officers monitor any changes they see that may indicate crime. You can help prevent crime with these simple practices:
Secure Your Vehicles
- Lock your car, even if you only leave for a moment
- Lock your doors and windows at all times
- Don’t leave anything of value in sight-laptops, phones and tablets, as well as any bags or boxes that may look valuable to thieves
- Invest in an alarm system – make sure it is functioning properly.
When You Leave Home, Prepare for Crime Prevention
- Put lights on timers
- Cancel newspapers and have mail held while you are away
- Have neighbors check your home daily
- Have police check your home daily
