In an effort to save some of the Ash trees in Washington Crossing from destruction by the Emerald Ash Borer, the Township approved a proposal for treatment by a certified arborist. In the Spring, Plant Health Solutions applied Abormectin (Emamectin Benzoate) directly into 67 trees. Nothing was sprayed directly onto the trees trunks or leaves. A total of 5 treatments, applied every other year for 10 years, will occur.
Treated trees were tagged by Plant Health Solutions. Please do not remove the tags or markers as they will be used to monitor the progress.
