The Township of Upper Makefield, offices located at 1076 Eagle Road, Newtown, PA 18940, will receive sealed bids online until 11:00 A.M., prevailing time on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024 at which time and place the bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud for:
Contract 23-09007 – UPPER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP FLOOD DEBRIS REMOVAL PROJECT.
The Project includes a base bid and four (4) alternates in Upper Makefield Township. The base contract bid includes removal of debris left by the flood of July 2023 along the banks of Hough’s Creek between River Road and Taylorsville Road. This will involve two (2) temporary stream crossings, construction of a temporary rock construction entrance (to be removed upon completion of the work), stabilization of the streambank at each crossing, returning the area to pre-construction condition and, disposal of any materials generated to an off-site location.
