Lurgan Road is scheduled to be closed Monday July 15, 2024 between Eagle Road and Street Road and remain closed through late November while PennDOT replaces a culvert over Pidcock Creek. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Route 32 (River Road), Route 232 (Windy Bush Road), and Street Road.

Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Built in 1910, the existing 16-foot-long, 23-foot-wide single-span concrete encased steel I-beam bridge will be replaced with a single-span concrete box culvert.
