PECO announced a major electric upgrade project to improve service in Upper Makefield as well as in surrounding communities. Pole and cable replacement is anticipated to begin in late summer of 2026 with completion in 2027. Vegetation management and tree work will begin sooner with crews from Davey Resource Group beginning survey work in the Township in the next few weeks.
