June 23, 2025 Update
As our area enters an Excessive Heat Warning, the Upper Makefield Township Administration Building located at 1076 Eagle Road is open as a cooling and charging center from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. through Wednesday, June 25. Stop by if you need relief from the heat or a place to charge devices.
**Remember to stay hydrated, check on your neighbors, and limit outdoor activity.**

June 21, 2025 Update

Upper Makefield Fire Station #71 at 1221 Taylorsville Road will be open until 5:00 p.m. today as a cooling and charging station.

June 20 – 2:15 p.m.
The 200 block of Thompson Mill Road and Highland Road between Scott Drive and the Cemetery remain closed. It is unknown when those streets will be opened as we are waiting on PECO.

The Upper Makefield Township Administration building will remain open today until 430 pm as a cooling and charging center. We may have other options available come the weekend depending on the power situation. They will be posted on the Police Facebook page.

According to PECO, as of 2:15 pm, approximately 71% of the township is without power. PECO is anticipating having the majority back on line tonight, and 98% by Sunday.
